No More Ply 6mm Board (1200mm x 600mm)

Developed to strengthen timber floors before tiling, No More Ply 6mm Board prevents tiles and grout lines cracking by removing the ‘bounce’ or deflection in timber floors caused by the weight of footfall.

The No More Ply 6mm Board is also water resistant, unlike plywood which weakens when damp.

Slim 6mm PrePrimed Tile Backing Boards provide the same rigidity and strength as 18mm plywood. This reduces the ‘step’ into the tiled area by 12mm. No one wants a step from one room to another.

6mm NoMorePly PrePrimed Tile Backing Boards are now primed on one side, another first in the industry. This reduces the installation process to save the installer even more time, whilst ensuring best practice.

6mm No More Ply is a pre-primed tile backer board which provides a flat, stable surface ready for floor tiling. It is ideal for floors which may be susceptible to deflection or lateral movement, such as expansion and contraction. Ideal for strengthening chipboard floors, floorboards or tongue and groove-boarded floors. No More Ply is very easy to use, simply cut boards to size using the No More Ply scoring knife. After which fix them into position with Mega Strength adhesive and No More Ply screws.

Why this board?

Each 1200mm x 600mm board covers an area of 0.72m² making it an ideal size for installers. This is one of the reasons it is such a popular product with tradespeople. As well as acoustic qualities, No More Ply has thermal insulation properties. Making it an ideal choice when you need to strengthen a floor prior to using electric underfloor heating, which can be laid directly onto the boards prior to tiling. The 6mm depth of the boards means there is minimum disruption to the height of the floor, so as to not cause too much of a height difference between adjoining rooms. No More Ply has a high impact resistance, meaning it is very durable during transportation and unlikely to be damaged during installation.
