McAlpine Antisiphon Bottle Trap

Introducing the McAlpine Antisiphon Bottle Trap. When emptying the sink, the valve opens up to let air in. Sinks will empty faster, and it provides a snug fit. It is a perfect solution for stopping smells and gurgles in your bathroom if your plumbing has negative pressure. It is available in 1¼” and 1½” sizes to be as generally useful as possible. The excellent antisiphon feature helps to maintain the 75mm water seal and is the reason why this bottle trap eliminates smells and gurgling.

McAlpine were the innovators of the A10 and C10 bottle traps in 1957 and since then, everybody recognises McAlpine as the market leader in this respect. The trap base is easily removed for cleaning and maintenance, no special tool is needed, it is simply done by hand.

The Multifit Compression Outlet suits all plastic, copper and lead pipes. This is done to leave maximum flexibility to the plumber and his chosen system. Furthermore, these traps are manufactured in polypropylene and are ensured to conform to BS EN 274-1:2002 standards.
